We have updates! We’re a little over a month away from the event, and the early registration deadline is approaching next week. Please register, if you haven’t, before the price increase.

RPM After Party
Lombard Hobbies will once again be our gracious hosts for the RPM After Party on Saturday Evening. If you can stick around town after the meet ends, looks for Food, Fun, and Great Deals at this premiere local hobby shop.

Dinner Presentations
For the Thursday Banquet Dinner, we’re pleased to welcome back Mike Schafer and Craig Willett. The After a plated, sit down meal in the atrium, guests will retire to the Arcadia room for a multimedia presentation featuring two quality shows from Mike and Craig. The first presentation will feature Illinois Terminal, and the second presentation will be a tribute to the late Jim Boyd. Both features will stimulate the senses through great railroad imagery and background music. By moving to the Arcadia room, everyone will have a theater style tiered seat to see the shows with a professional quality A/V set up on the big screen. We hope you’ll join us for these railroading slide shows, reinvigorated.

On Friday evening, we will once again host the Friends of the Freight Car dinner. This year’s panel discussion will be moderated by Eric Hansmann and will focus on prototype vs proto-freelanced layout designs. The panel is still being formed, so more information will follow.

New RPM Kick Off Event
Bill Darnaby has graciously offered to open up his layout on Wednesday evening. Details will be emailed to attendees, but this will be a rare opportunity to visit the Maumee Route that isn’t tied to an operating session (and therefore open to railfanning).

Look for an update via email, as these events are limited to conference attendees. If you’re not registered already, well, what are you waiting for!
