Here we are on the back end of Labor Day weekend with thirty-seven days before the 2026 RPM Naperville opens at the Northern Illinois University Conference Center on October 16 and 17.
Steve Hile has a solid line up of presentations for the two day event. Nearly all of them will be repeated. In addition to several insightful freight car presentations, model layout planning, prototype settings, and scenery are among the topics. Here are a few.
Craig Wilson – A Tribute to Jack Ozanich’s Atlantic Great Eastern
Jason Klocke – The Joy of Scenery
Mont Switzer – Little Things that define Location and Era
Tim Van Mersbergen – Using AI for Scenery Enhancements
The full list is posted on the Presenters page of our website. An event schedule will be posted a couple of weeks before the RPM.
Several vendors will be attending and offering a variety of models, supplies, and prototype ephemera. We hope to add a few more to the Vendors page.
It’s time to make your plans to attend the 2026 RPM Naperville. The early registration of $65 for the two day event ends on Friday, October 2nd. You can register using PayPal or by downloading a PDF form and sending that in with a check. All details are on the Registration page.
Additional details on area hotels, model displays, and layouts at the RPM can be found on the 2026 RPM Naperville information page.
We will see you in Naperville!
