On-site registration is via cash or check. There is also a one-day rate on Saturday, October 22, for the locals at $35. One day registration includes access to the vendor room, display room, and clinics for that day.
The Registration Table will open at 9:00 AM on Thursday, October 20, outside the ballroom.
On Friday and Saturday it will open at 8:00 AM with Seminars beginning at 9:00 AM.
Attendees, Vendors, and Speakers can register here for the event, either paying online with a credit card or PayPal account, or by printing a registration invoice and mailing a check.
Online registration will be open until 7:00 PM CST on 10/16/2016, after which time registration will be accepted on-site. The price for one-day admission on Saturday, October 22, is $35 at the door and will provide access to the vendor/display room and seminar schedule for that day.
Your standard event registration (earlybird rate of $89 is available up until 11:55 PM CST on September 23) includes a full seminar schedule, access to the Vendor and Display Rooms, and the fellowship and learning that comes from a long weekend with like-minded modelers.
Meals are available as extra fare, in case you do not want to attend them all. The first meal is a kick-off luncheon with a presentation by Philip Weibler entitled “My Affair with the E”. This slide show will feature Phil’s outstanding images and focus on the Rock Island, Burlington, and his long career on the C&NW. It is a great way to get the event started and learn about what is in store for the conference as we also overview the event and highlight some new features this year.
Thursday evening is the traditional RPM Banquet with a high-quality multimedia presentation. This year’s program will feature Mike Schafer and Craig Willet as they introduce a pair of outstanding audio and visual programs.
Friday is the popular Friends of the Freight Car dinner. This year’s Friend’s dinner is being planned to include a panel discussion featuring RR historians and librarians, so come to learn about researching your favorite railroad topic and learn where various historical documents are stored and viewed throughout the country.
Your standard vendor registration ($50) includes one table for the duration of the three day event, and badges for up to two employees. Additional tables can be purchased at $45 each (6’x30″ tables). Meals are not included with the standard registration, but can be added on separately. If you need an electrical hook-up, the hotel service charge is $10. (Vendors do not need Earlybird Registration for their first two employees in attendance)
When your presentation is approved, you will receive a coupon code to enter on the payment screen. This coupon will cover the cost of your base registration, and then meals can be added at separate cost. Please choose the base registration, and any meals, then enter the code on the payment screen to received the discount.
