The 2017 rendition of the Mini-Kit was offered in four different scales!
First, Jason Kliewer’s 3D cad model of a Pullman Standard “Carbuilders” end was the basis for new resin ends in each scale. The ends were 3D printed, and then combined with other mastered parts by Frank Hodina. Castings were donated by Aaron Gjermundson in all four scales, while decals were donated by Ted Culotta.
We were also indebted to Ron Sebastian of Des Plaines Hobbies who donated 1937 AAR box car kits for HO, N, and S scale modelers, allowing a more complete kit to be gifted this year.
